I was born in Eastport, Maine but I spent most of my life in the Cape Ann region of Northeastern Massachusetts. My husband Tom and I now live on Amelia Island, Florida.
I work in both oil and watercolor. My preferred subjects are landscapes and seascapes. I enjoy the outdoors and the challenge and inspiration of painting on site. Whether in Florida, Georgia, New England, or other travel locations I love the process of trying to capture a scene with a harmony of value, color and design.
As a member of many professional art groups, I have exhibited and won prizes in regional and national shows.
